Dear Ken,
I am a volunteer with the Yougiogheny River Hike/Bike Trail in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Our trail is part of the Great
Allegheny passage that goes 350 miles from Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C.
We are looking to construct 2-3 Adirondack shelters along our section of the trail for through bikers and hikers. I am looking for plans.
Any help that you can give me in this area would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for posting the leanto plans!

I have plenty of cedar trees...is there a leanto builder out there that's short on cedar but long on experience that would be interested in building a leanto for me in exchange for logs? I also have a sawmill on the property.

I'm in Lake Placid but the property/trees are over in Vermont, near St. Albans.

If interested, leave me a message at; 518-524-1195

I've been looking around to see who else out there is into
constructing Adirondack Lean-to Shelters. Since 1999 I've
enjoyed the experience of building three, all in Maine.
The most recent project; last summer for the Appalachain Mountain Club
up in the Moosehead Lake region.

If you are interested in learning more you can contact me.

Hello, I have been interested in the Adirondack Lean To and have ordered one of your plans. This is what I have been looking for. Hope to receive the plans soon so when spring comes, I too can build one.

Thank you for posting your plans on the net.

Jules, if you clicked on the text link (CLICK HERE FOR FULL SCALE PRINTABLE IMAGE") at the top of the post, it should open a jpeg file that is 2990x2196 pixels. It may be scaled down to fit your screen which would make it hard to read, but if you change to full view it should show at full scale. Try right clicking and downloading it to your own computer and opening it in your photo viewing software. It is a huge image, and should not be difficult to read.

Hi, we are building something like this for our llamas. I wish I could read the writing, it's a great image, just really small. Hmmmm. Wonder what we can do to make this work?

Thank you,
